The Children’s Cardiac centre at Southampton has offered expert
medical and surgical treatment for children with congenital and acquired heart disease for almost forty years. Consultant paediatric cardiologists, surgeons, intensivists and nurses work closely together as a team.
Southampton has consistently achieved world class surgical results with audited outcomes extending over 30 years. The Unit has been treatened with closure due to NHS cuts but everyone involved is fighting to keep it open.
