Baxterbear flys out to Dubai, The United Arab Emirates for a very special Hogmanay Celebration to catch up with an old friend from Kenya, and invite them all to join 'The World of Baxterbear'

Baxterbear will be attending the Sharjah Wanderers Sports Club New Year Party. The Sports Club has been in existence since 1977. The origins of the name of the Club stem back to Edinburgh Wanderers Rugby Club. The club presently supports a number of sporting activities and recently participated in the Dubai Rugby 7s tournament held annually at the beginning of December. Baxterbear also attended this event and watched a number of the International sides compete, including Scotland and Kenya. Always with a keen eye, Baxterbear spotted his friend Gavin Hastings in the stand, roaring on Scotland to a fine victory

Baxterbear is CONFUDDLED to hear The New Year's party will be held in the marquee on the hallowed turf of the Sharjah Wanderers Club, not playing Rugby then! Colin Ewing’s the manager anticipates everyone will be TREEKLED to catch up with Baxterbear and take home there own Baxterbear and make a difference.
