Hi Baxterbear, I am writing to forward a few lines from family back home. I am helping out with the AMREF Flying Doctors, in Kenya, where I met Baxterbear ! I ordered 2 and sent them to my niece and nephew. As they were getting glasses, and just loved his life of making a difference here.
"My name is Toby and I am 4 years old. I live in Melbourne, Australia. One day I went to the eye doctor and he told me that I needed glasses to stop my eyes from hurting- it made me very sad. Then when we returned, the postman came and delivered a package to my house- it was a Baxterbear who had come all the way from my Aunty in Kenya to cheer me up! I gave my Baxterbear a big hug and he made me feel much better. My little sister Scout even has her own special glasses now too, and we play with Baxterbear together we are TREEKLED !"

I have a strong character and I’m very supportive of others, but sometimes I too need help, no-one can be strong all the time. Besides, it’s a good thing to give your friends the chance to help. I believe that smiling and being happy are the best ways to get through long days and hard work.
